B2B dealer wins accolade for the fourth successive year, with CommXchange named as the first ‘Total Communications Partner of the Year’

OneCom has been named as Vodafone’s ‘Platinum Partner of the Year’ for the fourth consecutive year, picking up the award at a ceremony following the operator’s annual partner conference yesterday.

The Whiteley-based firm has won the top prize since the awards began in 2011, which recognises partners who exhibit the highest level of performance and skills and those that have helped create the best customer experience between April 1, 2013 and March 31, 2014.

The partner conference was held for the second consecutive year at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester and attracted more than 100 mobile and fixed partners, where they were informed of the operator’s strategy of providing a total communications portfolio to the channel.

CommsXchange was named Total Communications Partner of the Year. This was a brand new award, which Vodafone said is in line with its move to becoming an integrated total communications channel, recognising the best combined sales performance across its portfolio.

The Gold Partner of the Year award went to Connect Telecom, while Your Company Mobiles picked up the prize for Silver Partner of the Year. PMGC Technology Group scooped the One Net Partner of the Year accolade, iTalk was named Fixed Voice Partner of the Year and Eison as Fixed Data and Internet Partner of the Year.

CommsXchange, Conect Telecom and Redsquid Communications were recipients of the ‘Solutions Pioneer’ accreditation. This is new to the programme and launched on April 1. Vodafone said this was designed for those partners demonstrating a commitment to its strategy through proven capability and consistent sales performance across its portfolio.

Vodafone UK head of Vodafone Partner Services Rob Mukherjee said: “The Vodafone Partner of the Year Awards is a clear demonstration of our commitment to our channel partners as we place them at the heart of our strategy for the coming year.

“We want to enable our partners to focus on the things that really matter – driving converged technologies, helping customers to find better ways of working and providing a fantastic customer experience. We also want to support our partners to be the best channel to market for our total telecommunications portfolio, as we know this is what our customers want.”
