Realme announces X3 SuperZoom smartphone

It will cost £469 and comes with 12GB of RAM making it one of the more powerful mid-rangers on the market 

Realme has announced the X3 SuperZoom smartphone in the UK will be available from June 2. 

Customers can pre-order from today (May 25), while the Chinese vendor also revealed a host of IoT products are coming to the UK. 

This includes the Realme Watch, Band, Buds Air Neo and PowerBank 2, which are being launched as part of Realme’s 1+1 Strategy: Smartphone +AIoT. 

Realme’s latest smartphone will cost £469 and is available to pre-order from the vendor’s website. 

The X3 SuperZoom’s standout feature is the zoom capability within the phone’s camera, with up to 60 times zoom possible. 

It comes with a quad-camera setup that has a 64MP main camera and 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, while there’s also a 32MP selfie camera on the front. 

The display is 6.6-inches in size and has a 90.6 per cent screen-to-body ratio. 

Realme’s latest handset is powered by a Snapdragon 855+ chipset and includes 30W Dart Charge, which it claims can provide a full charge in 55 minutes. 

There is also a 4,200mAh battery, while the smartphone comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of memory. 

It is available in either white or blue.

The vendor has also announced its Watch will be arriving in the UK from £49.99 on June 23.

It will be available in four colours and has a 3.5cm touchscreen.

The Realme Watch supports 14 sports modes and comes equipped with an optical heart rate sensor.

Realme says it can also accurately count steps, monitor sleep and monitor blood oxygen level.
