The Oppo Band features 12 workout modes

Oppo has announced the launch of its first wearable designed for fitness.

The Oppo Band becomes the second wearable in the vendor’s range after the launch of the Oppo Watch series last year.

It features 12 workout modes and supports accurate sleep, heart rate, and continuous SpO2 monitoring.

The basic sports version of the Oppo Band is available from £39.99 via Oppo’s eStore and through Amazon.

It comes in black and users are able to track their progress through the HeyTap health app.

Oppo UK managing director Kevin Cho commented: “Staying active is one of the most important things we can do and after more than a year in lockdown, we’re all aware of the impact it has on not just our physical, but mental, well-being.

“The biggest challenge can be finding the motivation to exercise. That’s why we’re excited to be launching the OPPO Band, enabling users to stay engaged and motivated.”

Users can customise their Oppo Band, with up to 40 different watch faces to choose between, while the 100mAh battery can reach a full charge within an hour-and-a-half.
